FAQ - Troubleshooting

  • Why am I not receiving any access requests?  

    Check that you have used the same email address when ordering an InHome delivery from our delivery service partners as you have used in your Yale Access app.

  • Why can’t I grant access requests?  

    Check that the email address that has been used when ordering an InHome delivery from our delivery service partners is also one that belongs to a lock owner in your Yale Access app.
  • Where can I get more information or support for my lock or lock accessory?

  • I am having trouble setting up my Yale smart lock and accessory, where can I get help?  

    If you are having problems setting up your Yale smart lock, Yale Connect Wi-Fi Bridge, Yale Access App or anything else in the installation process, please see our instruction video here.

  • Why can I not enable my Yale InHome subscription in the Yale Access app? 

    Check that you havereceived a welcome email from us. The welcome email is confirmation that your subscription is activated in our systems. If you have received a welcome email, check that you have used the same email address when signing up for the Yale InHome subscription as you are using in yourYale Access app. You can change the email address by logging in to your Yale InHome subscription account and selecting the “edit account” menu.

    If you have used the same email address and you still cannot enable the subscription, please restart the Yale Access app and try again. If the problem persists, please contact us. 

  • Why have I not received a welcome email even though I have signed up for the Yale InHome subscription?  

    Check your junk email folder just in case it has ended up there. If it is not there, log in to your Yale InHome subscription account and check that your email address is correct. If you still need help with this, please contact us.
  • Why is the access request still showing as active in my Yale Access app even though I have received the InHome delivery that I ordered? 

    The access request will be shown as active until the time window expires, even if the access code has expired.
